waypoint preschool's sensory room

In collaboration with Community Partnerships, a local non-profit dedicated to building inclusive educational communities, Waypoint Preschool has created a dedicated sensory space for children at Waypoint Preschool and Waypoint Church to explore and enjoy.  

This regulating space is specifically designed for individual or small groups of children to explore and learn, engage in calming or stimulating materials and activities, and build skills.  

The Sensory Room has a variety of materials and equipment including a cozy corner tent, bubble wall, touch squares, balance beam, mini trampoline, and guided resources on activities to do within the space.  

Utilized by classes during the preschool day, the Sensory Room is also available for Waypoint parents to sign up for a time slot with their child immediately before or after school.
